High signal sensitivity allows fast fix and re-fix, allowing maximum precision in detecting your position, and strongly decreasing power consumption. When travelling, route planning and optimisation can be extremely useful: the Acer c-500 Series comes with the Powerful Trip Planning (PTP) feature that intelligently organises the route also detecting the best places to stop, maybe coinciding with a Point of Interest, (POI) such as a Bank, a Golf Course or the Service Station. The c-500 series lists several categories of Point of Interest, (POI) that can be updated over the Internet
